Vote to pass a concurrent resolution that specifies that the pay increases for elected officials and judges, as recommended by the Missouri Citizens' Commission on Elected Officials, are rejected.

Highlights:
-Specifies that the Commission's recommendation that statewide elected officials, legislators, and judges receive a cost-of-living adjustment if a cost-of-living adjustment is approved by the Missouri General Assembly for all state employees is rejected. -Specifies that the Commission's recommendation that state associate circuit court judges receive an annual pay increase of $1,500 and a per diem for judges attending an annual three day judicial conference is rejected.

NOTE: THE MISSOURI STATE CONSTITUTION REQUIRES THE CITIZENS' COMMISSION ON COMPENSATION FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS TO SET COMPENSATION FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS AND JUDGES, BUT ALLOWS THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO REJECT THE COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATIONS THROUGH A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION THAT REQUIRES A TWO-THIRDS MAJORITY FOR PASSAGE.
