Vote to pass a bill that requires the Trustees of California State University and the Board of Governors of California Community Colleges, and requests the Board of Regents of the University of California to establish procedures to provide institutional financial aid to students who are exempt from nonresident tuition according to existing statutes.
- - Graduated from a California high school after attending it for three or more years;
- Registered at or will register at their college after the 2001-2002 fall semester; and
- In the case of an individual with lawful immigration status, filed an affidavit with their college that states that the student has filed or will file an application to legalize his or her immigration status.
