Vote to concur with the Governor's amendatory veto that prohibits health insurers from canceling or denying the option of health care coverage for unmarried dependents until their twenty-sixth birthday or thirtieth birthday if the dependent served in the military.

Highlights:
- Requires dependents that served in the military to have received a discharge or release other than a dishonorable discharge to be eligible for health care coverage until their thirtieth birthday [sec. 356z.12 (d)]. - Specifies that the requirements of this amendatory veto apply to health care plans that are amended, delivered, issued, or renewed after the effective date of this Act: June 1, 2006 (Sec. 356z.12).
