Title: Teamwork for Employees and Managers Act of 1995
Vote to adopt an amendment that revises the National Labor Relations Act of 1935 to allow employers to form labor-management cooperative organizations with employees without the presence of a union.
- Allows such organizations to discuss "matters of mutual interest," such as issues of safety, health, and efficiency.
- Prohibits such organizations from handling collective bargaining agreements or from being the employees' exclusive bargaining representative.
- Prohibits such organizations in workplaces in which a labor organization is present.
- States that no other rights and responsibilities in the National Labor Relations Act of 1935 are affected by this bill.
