Title: Gun Lock Requirement Amendment
Vote to table an amendment that would prohibit the transfer of guns which are not equipped with a locking device.
- Requires all handguns transferred to anyone besides a licensed manufacturer, importer, or dealer to be equipped with a locking device, unless the handgun is transferred to a federal or state agency, or a law enforcement officer.
- Sets civil penalties at $10,000 or suspension of their gun license.
