Vote to pass a bill to clarify definitions for regulations governing political campaign contributions and activities to include nonbroadcast media contributions.

Highlights:
-Mandates that every candidate, treasurer, person and association of persons, or organization (including corporations) supporting a political committee, advocating the election or defeat of a candidate for state, district, county, or municipal office shall keep detailed accounts of every sum of money or other thing of value received by him or her, including all expenditures made for political purposes. -Prohibits an officer, agent, or person acting on behalf of a corporation from contributing money or anything of value belonging to the corporation in order to advocate the election or defeat of a candidate for state, district, county, or municipal office. -Provides that the provisions of this bill take effect on the first of October 2008.
