Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the sale of animals in a county larger than 800,000 persons on public highways, streets, and parks, as well as public property adjacent to those locations and imposes a fine of up to $50 on violators.

Highlights:
-Prohibits the sale of animals on commercial private property in the absence of the express consent of the owner or lessee of the property (Sec. 1). -Exempts retail sales at pet stores, sales by certain publicly operated and private organizations including animal rescue organizations or nonprofit pounds, and sales made at rodeos, auctions, or county fairs (Sec. 1).
