Title: Expansion of Video Lottery Facility Hours
Highlights:
-Extends the normal hours of the Twin River and Newport Grand facilities until 3A.M.
-States that the extended hours set forth in this bill expire on June 30, 2009.
-Increases the revenue received by the city of Newport from the Newport Grand facility to 1.2% from 1.01% for each week operated under the extended hours.
-Increases the revenue received by the town of Lincoln from the Lincoln Park facility to 1.45% from 1.26% for each week operated under the extended hours.
-Allocates up to $14.1 million of additional revenue from the extended hours to the school fund to aid local education authorities.
