-Lowers the minimum wage for tipped employees from half of the regular state minimum wage to a level which equals the federal minimum wage for tipped employees (Sec. A).
-Mandates that the total compensation for tipped employees shall not be less than the state minimum wage (Sec. A).
-Exempts employers whose line of work necessitates that their employees work irregular hours from the state overtime pay requirements that mandate that employers pay at least 1.5 times the regular wage to employees for time spent working that exceeds 40 hours of work for any given week for each employee (Sec. A).
