Vote to pass a bill that raises the tax rate on alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and soft drink syrups to fund the Dirigo Health program.

E-1. 28-A MRSA §1652, sub-§1). - Increases the sales tax on wine sold in the state to 65 cents per gallon (Sec. E-2. 28-A MRSA §1652, sub-§1). - Creates a $1 per gallon tax on sparkling wine and a 25 cents per gallon tax on all hard cider manufactured or sold in the state (Sec.
