Title: Driver's License Residency Requirement

Highlights:

- Allows an individual applying for a Maine driver's license or ID card to present documentation of their residency in the state. The following documents are acceptable (Sec. 1):

    - a tax return, W-2 form, or paycheck stub - a utility bill or letter from a utility company - a document issued by a governmental entity - a contract to which the individual is a party
- Allows an individual who is unable to provide acceptable documentation to submit the affidavits of two people who have a personal or professional relationship with the individual and are aware of their residence (Sec. 1).
