Vote to pass a bill that provides $127.36 million in funding for debt payments and capital improvement projects, including repairs and maintenance.
Highlights:
-Allows departments to exceed expenditure limitations from special revenue funds by submitting an application to the governor and obtaining the approval of the state finance council (Sec. 28).
-$693,911 to the Kansas Commission on Veterans Affairs for Soldiers' and Veterans' homes repair projects (Sec. 7).
-$30 million to the State Board of Regents for repair and improvement projects, and projects in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the state fire marshal code (Sec. 20).
-$8 million to the Department of Wildlife and Parks for repair projects, land acquisition, and Coast Guard boating and boating access projects (Sec. 27).
