Title: Abolishing the Death Penalty

Vote on motion to advance to enrollment and review for engrossment a bill that eliminates the death penalty and replaces it with a sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

Highlights:
- Specifies that under no circumstance may an individual be paroled if they are sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole (Sec. 24). - Changes the sentence of all inmates currently on death row to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole (Sec. 27). - Requires a perpetrator sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole to make compensatory payment to the estate of the victim for all medical bills caused by the attack and all funeral expenses (Sec. 25).
