Vote to pass a bill that requires health benefit plans to fully cover any health care services deemed medically necessary by a health care professional to treat a health condition, injury or disease.

Highlights:
- Requires the health care services to be in accordance with generally accepted standards of medical practices, appropriate and effective for the patient's treatment, not done for the convenience of the patient or health care professional, and not more costly than alternative services [sec. 2 (B) (4)]. - Establishes the effective date of this act as November 1, 2008 (Sec. 2).
