Vote to concur with Senate amendments and pass a bill that requires the Department of Health to disseminate information to the public and health care professionals about sexually transmitted diseases, their health consequences, and treatment options.

Highlights:

- Requires that information identify abstinence before marriage and fidelity after marriage as the surest way to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases [sec. 1 (2) (a) (ii) (C)]. - Disallows the distribution of information about sexually transmitted diseases to public schools [sec. 1 (2) (c) (ii)]. - Appropriates $175,000 to the Department of Health for education, prevention and the treatment of chlamydia and gonorrhea for the 2008-2009 fiscal year (Sec. 2).
