Title: Amending Alcohol Regulations
Vote to pass a bill that amends the state's liquor laws, including amending the definition of "liquor" to include flavored malt beverages, and increasing the allowable content of alcohol in drinks served at restaurants, lounges, clubs, banquets and events.
- Increases the limit on the allowable alcohol content of drinks that may be served from one to 1.5 ounces per beverage [sec. 55 (2) (a)]. - Reduces the limit on the amount of liquor a patron my be served at one time from 2.75 to 2.5 ounces [sec. 55 (2) (c)]. - This is a substitute bill offered by Senator Curtis Bramble.
