Title: Prohibiting Mandatory Employee Participation in Political Events

Highlights:

- Prohibits employers from requiring employees to attend meetings where the primary objective is to force the employer's political opinions or beliefs on the employee. - Protects employees' right to withdrawal, without penalty, from any employer speech that constitutes political matters and that the employee finds objectionable. - Fines first-time violators up to $500. Increases fines for subsequent fines to between $2,500 and $5,000. - Substitute offered by the House Committee on the Judiciary.
