Vote to pass a bill requiring children under 8 years of age to ride in booster seats and fines drivers for infractions.

Highlights:

- Imposes a $50 fine, free of court fees, to violators of the booster seat requirement [sub sec. 24 pg.6]. - Applies to every vehicle designed to carry ten or fewer passengers [sub sec. 1 pg]. - Excludes motorcycles, motor driven cycles, and farm trucks registered for agricultural use only and weighing at least one ton [sub sec. 1 (a,b,c) pg 1]. - Provides that all fines that violate parking limits for disabled persons will be deposited into the State Treasury where 90% will be given to personal care assistant program and 10% to law enforcement [sub sec. 28 pg. 7 ].
