Vote to adopt an amendment providing exceptions to a proposed smoking ban in public places and workplaces.

- Creates exceptions for designated smoking rooms of long-term care facilities, cigar bars, private clubs, and drinking establishments. - Increases the fines for violations of the Clean Indoor Air Act. - Prohibits local governments from adopting any alternative or stricter indoor smoking bans. - Extends the date that the Clean Indoor Air Act takes effect from 90 days from enactment to 180 days from enactment.
