- Redefines "place of employment" to include meeting rooms, elevators, and stairways, and vehicles owned by an employer and used by more than one employee (sec. 1). - Prohibits smoking within 10 feet of entrances, exits, windows that open, and ventilation intakes of public places or places of employment (sec. 3). - Repeals several exceptions to the ban on smoking, including those for restaurants, bars, taverns, and bowling centers (sec. 4). - Allows smoking in smoke shops and cigar bars which had $5,000 or more in retail cigar sales in calendar year 2006 (sec. 4).
