Title: Restructuring the Department of Transportation

Vote to table a bill that would divide the Department of Transportation into two different parts.

Highlights:
-Allows the Governor to appoint an executive director of the Department of Transportation, who is responsible for the general affairs of the department [Sec. 3]. - Creates the Department of Transportation Planning Commission whose members, except for the commissioner that is appointed by the Governor, are elected by the legislature and responsible for the budgetary operations of the department [Sec. 3].
