Highlights:
- Establishes acceptable forms of identification to include current and valid Mississippi driver's licenses, US passports, student ID cards, military ID cards, and official voter registration cards as acceptable forms of identification (sec. 1).
- Allows those lacking identification to vote by affidavit ballot, which will be counted upon confirmation of the voter's eligibility (sec. 1).
-Requires people voting by absentee ballot to present the ballot to the registrar of the county they reside in so that the registrar can witness the signing of the ballot (sec. 2).
