A vote to pass a bill that would prohibit smoking in most indoor public places and workplaces.

- Prohibits smoking in any indoor workplace, indoor public place, and in all forms of public transportation that is not specifically exempt, as listed further in the section (Sec. 4) - Prohibits smoking near entrances, windows, or ventilation systems of workplaces and public places (Sec. 6) - Grants enforcement to local fire, police, or sheriffÂ’s departments (Sec. 9) - Establishes that violators of the act will be subject to fines of up to $500 per violation (Sec. 11)
