Vote to pass a bill expanding Floridas private school scholarship programs.
Highlights:
-Expands the Corporate Income Tax Credit Scholarship Program (CITCSP) for students enrolled in eligible private schools by raising scholarship amounts to $4000 for students in grades 6 through 8 and to $4250 for students in grades 9 through 12 (sec. 1). -Extends eligibility for the CITCSP to siblings of current recipients (sec. 1). -Allows for students receiving the John M. McKay Scholarship for Students with Disabilities to be home schooled if being in a private school would represent a risk to their welfare or that of other students (sec. 2).
