Title: Seat Belt Requirement

Vote to pass a bill that requires all motor vehicle occupants to wear seat belts. Requires all minors to either wear seat belts or to be secured in appropriate child safety restraints.
Highlights:
- Exempts individuals possessing a written statement from a licensed physician, participating in a parade, or performing official job duties which require them to frequently exit the vehicle (sec. 10).
- Establishes maximum fines of $100 for violations involving minors and $20 for violations involving adults (sec. 11).
- Prohibits violations of the seat belt requirement from being recorded on an individual's driving record or from being used by insurance companies to increase premiums (sec. 11).
