Vote to pass a bill requiring property owners to clean up discovered methamphetamine labs.
Highlights:
- Requires the state Emergency Response Commission to establish standards for the decontamination of methamphetamine lab sites [§1.35-9-156(d)].
- Gives property owners 90 days to decontaminate their properties according to the Emergency Response Commission's standards once a law enforcement agency has notified her/him of the discovery of a methamphetamine lab [§1.35-9-159(d)].
