Title: School District Consolidation

A vote to pass a bill that requires school districts with enrollment below 100 to consolidate with a neighboring district.
Highlights:
- Allows districts two years to complete consolidation beginning July 1, 2007 (sec 2). - Awards consolidated school districts additional funding (sec 3). - Awards extra funding to districts that increase enrollment by at least five percent (sec 8). - Exempts "sparse school districts" that cover 400 square miles or more, have "secondary attendance centers," and have a fall enrollment of 500 or less (sec 12.13-13-78).
