Vote to adopt an amendment that requires all licensed importers, manufacturers and dealers who engage in the transfer of handguns to provide secure gun storage or safety devices.
Highlight: -Provides immunity from civil liability to individuals who lawfully possess handguns and use secure gun storage or safety devices (Sec. 5). -Imposes penalties for violations, including license suspension for a period of at least six months, license revocation, or a maximum fine of $2,500 (Sec. 5).
