Vote to adopt an amendment that would make it easier for law enforcement authorities to use multipoint wiretaps (wiretaps that follow the actions of a suspect and are not limited to one specific phone line) for the purpose of anti-terrorism surveillance by removing restrictions that previously required judicial authorizations for every wiretap on a terrorist suspect, and creating a single multipoint wiretap authorization.
