Title: U.S. -Oman Free Trade Agreement
Vote to pass a bill, under fast track procedures, that approves a free trade agreement negotiated between the administration and Oman. The bill eliminates most customs duties immediately and remaining tariffs over the next ten years, establishes conditions to be met prior to implementation and methods for verifying items originated in the U.S. or Oman triggering elimination of related consumer user fees, and authorizes import relief for domestic industries harmed by resulting imports.
