Vote to pass a bill that would require hospitals to provide information on undocumented immigrants seeking emergency medical care.

Highlights:
  • Prohibits federal reimbursement of funds to hospitals that provide emergency services to undocumented immigrants unless the hospital provides the Secretary of Homeland Security with citizenship and employment records (Sec. 3).
  • Makes employers of certain undocumented immigrants financially responsible for the medical treatment of these immigrants (Sec. 3).
  • Allows the Secretary of Homeland Security to remove undocumented immigrants under Federal immigration law (Sec. 3).
