Vote to pass a bill that provides appropriations for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) over the next five years.
- $57 billion for airport and airway improvements, including $28.55 billion for FAA operations, $21.59 billion for airport improvement, and $5.5 billion for airway facilities improvement.
- Creates the Air Traffic Control Oversight Board to oversee the FAA in its administration, management, conduct, direction and supervision of the air traffic control system.
- Creates a whistleblower protection program designed to protect airline employees who provide air safety information.
