Vote to pass a bill that requires accommodations for employees during pregnancy and childbirth.

Highlights:

• Requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations to employees during pregnancy and childbirth including, but not limited to, the following (Sec. 3):
• More frequent or longer breaks;
• Modification of equipment;
• Performance of job while seated; and
• Temporary transfer to a less hazardous position.
• Requires employers to provide a private, clean, non-bathroom space for the purpose expressing breast milk (Sec. 3).
• Requires employers not providing these accommodations to prove that doing so would present an undue burden to the employer (Sec. 3).
