Title: Amends Chicago Police and Firefighter Pension Plans

    • $199 million for tax year 2016;
    • $208 million for tax year 2017;

    • $235 million for tax year 2019; and
    • $245 million for tax year 2020.
  • Extends the date by which the Chicago city council is required to appropriate 90 percent of police and firefighter pension funds from 2040 to 2055 (Sec. 5).

NOTE: A THREE- FIFTHS MAJORITY OF THE ELECTED MEMBERS IS REQUIRED TO OVERRIDE A GOVERNOR'S VETO.
