Title: Protecting Communities and Preserving the Second Amendment Act of 2016

  • Authorizes that within a year of enactment date of this act, the Attorney General shall instruct the Director of the National Institutes of Justice to conduct and report to congress a peer-reviewed study to examine sources and causes of mass shootings, including, but not limited to (Sec. 9):

    • Psychological factors; and

    • Impact of violent video games.
