Title: Prohibits Minors from Possessing Alcohol on Private Property

Vote to pass a bill that prohibits a minor from possessing alcohol on private property.

Highlights:

  • Prohibits an individual under the age of 18 from possessing or consuming an alcoholic beverage without direct supervision for a parent or guardian except in the following circumstances (Sec. 1):
    • An established religious purpose;
    • A medical purpose;
    • A requirement for employment by a manufacture, wholesaler, or retailer of alcoholic beverages.
  • Establishes the following fines for a violation of the provisions of this bill (Sec. 1):
    • Up to $25 for a first offense, and;
    • Up to $100 for a subsequent offense.
