Title: Requires Single User Restrooms to be Gender Neutral

Vote to pass a bill that requires all single-user public restrooms to be gender neutral, effective March 1, 2017.
Highlights:
- Requires all “single-user” restrooms in any business establishment, government agency or public place to be identified as all-gender and designated for use by no more than 1 occupant at a time or for family or assisted use (Sec. 1).
- Defines “single-user” restrooms as having no more than 1 water closet and 1 urinal with a locking mechanism controlled by the user (Sec. 1).
- Requires an inspector, building official, or other local official responsible for code enforcement to inspect any business or place of public accommodation for compliance with this bill (Sec. 1).
