Vote to pass a bill that repeals minimum jail time for repeat prostitution offenders.

Highlights:

• Repeals the following mandatory minimum sentences for acts of prostitution (Sec. 1):
• Imprisonment in a county jail for no less than 45 days if the individual was previously convicted of a similar violation; and
• Imprisonment in a county jail for no less than 90 days if the individual was previously convicted of a similar violation 2 or more times.

• Repeals the courts’ ability to prohibit an individual convicted of prostitution from operating a motor vehicle (Sec. 2).
