Vote to pass a bill that prohibits smoking in public places.

Highlights:

• Prohibits an individual from smoking or using an electronic cigarette in certain public places including, but not limited to, the following places (Sec. 1):
• In a place of government or public assembly located on government property;
• In a bar, restaurant or hotel;
• In a place of employment; or
• In a common area of an apartment building.

• Exempts certain places from the provisions of this bill including, but not limited to, the following places (Sec. 1):
• A Retail tobacco or e-cigarette store;
• A Private residence; and 
• A Stand-alone shelter.
