Highlights:

• Requires the state supreme court to review the district boundaries for circuit and district courts and the assignment of judges, based on their respective populations and caseloads, in legislative redistricting years (Sec. 1).

• Requires the state supreme court to review the district boundaries for the state supreme court based on population (Sec. 1).

• Requires the state supreme court to submit a plan to the legislature which addresses any district imbalances in population or caseloads and includes the following information (Sec. 1): 
• A redrawing of district boundaries; and
• A reallocation of the number of judges assigned to a circuit or district.
