Title: Authorizes Voters to Opt Out of Mail Ballots

Vote to pass a bill that authorizes voters to opt-out of mail ballots, effective August 10, 2016.
Highlights:
- Authorizes an individual to opt-out of receiving a mail ballot indefinitely or for a single election by completing an electronic form on the state online voter registration system (Sec. 2).
- Authorizes an individual to resume receiving a mail ballot by completing the process set forth by the state’s Secretary of State (Sec. 2).
- Requires the Secretary of State to purchase 1 twenty-four hour secure ballot drop box and 1 surveillance camera for each county in the state (Sec. 4).
- Appropriates funds from the Federal Election Assistance Fund to the Department of State to purchase the ballot drop boxes and the surveillance cameras (Sec 4.).
