Highlights:

• Appropriates $140.9 million for mental health facilities (Article 1, Sec. 10).

• Appropriates $558.7 million to the Department on Aging (Article 3, Secs. 5, 10, & 15).

• Appropriates $274.6 million to the Illinois Community College Board to be distributed to community colleges for educational related expenses (Article 13, Sec. 5).

• Appropriates $397.1 million to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission for grant awards to students eligible for the Monetary Award Program (Article 20, Sec. 5).

• Specifies that this budget is valid for costs incurred prior to July 1, 2016 (Article 998).
