Title: Prohibits State Board of Education From Implementing Common Core

  • Requires the Board to review and authorize an assessment system for students in grades 3 through 8 in English, reading, writing, and mathematics (Sec. 1).
  • Requires the Board to review and authorize a college readiness assessment to be administered to individuals in 11th grade (Sec. 1).
  • Establishes provisions that prohibits individuals who opt out of state testing from being punished, disciplined, or receive a grade reduction (Sec. 1).
