Vote to pass a bill that requires an electric company to eliminate coal-fired resources from the supply of electricity by 2031.

Highlights:

• Requires a retail electric company to eliminate coal-fired resources from the supply of electricity by December 31, 2030 (Sec. 1).

• Requires a retail electric company to meet the following standards (Sec. 2):
• At least 27% of electricity sold from 2025 to 2029 is from a renewable source;
• At least 35% of electricity sold from 2030 to 2034 is from a renewable source;
• At least 45% of electricity sold from 2035 to 2039 is from a renewable source; and
• At least 50% of electricity sold after 2040 is from a renewable source.
