Vote to pass a joint resolution that submits a constitutional amendment to the voters that authorizes an individual who is at least 21 years old to use marijuana, effective January 2018.

Highlights:

• Authorizes possession and personal use of marijuana for persons 21 and older (Sec. 1).

• Authorizes the production, processing, transportation, sale, and taxation of marijuana and hemp (Sec. 1).

• Requires state revenue generated from marijuana and hemp to be used to fund Medicaid or drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs (Sec. 1).
