Vote to pass a bill that prohibits the use of public funds to an entity that performs "nontherapeutic abortions."

Highlights:

• Prohibits the Department of Health from appropriating state or federal funds to an entity that performs or promotes “nontherapeutic abortions,” including funds from the following sources (Sec. 1):
• Funds from the Violence Against Women Act;
• Funds from the Breast and Cervical Cancer Mortality Prevention Act;
• Funds from an infertility prevention project; and
• Funds from a minority HIV/AIDS initiative.
