Title: Preserving Access to Manufactured Housing Act of 2015

Vote to pass a bill that amends mortgage regulations for mobile homes.
Highlights:
- Amends the Truth in Lending Act to modify the definitions of a mortgage originator and a high-cost mortgage (Sec. 2).

Defines a “Mortgage Originator” as a retailer of manufactured or modular homes or its employees, unless under the following circumstances (Sec. 2):

Said retailer or its employees receive compensation or monetary gain for engaging in activities that is in excess of any compensation or gain received in a comparable cash transaction.

Defines “High-Cost Mortgage” by amending and replacing, “8.5 percentage points if the transaction is for less than $50,000” with 10 percentage points if the dwelling is personal property, and the transaction is for less than $75,000 (Sec. 3).
