Vote to pass a bill that prohibits discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or status as a veteran.
Defines “gender identity” as the gender-related identity, appearance, or other gender-related characteristics of an individual regardless of sex designated at birth (Sec. 1).
Defines “sexual orientation” as an individual’s real or perceived heterosexuality, homosexuality, or bisexuality (Sec. 1).
Prohibits any state agency, board, or commission from discriminating in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, pregnancy, childbirth, age, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or status as a veteran (Sec. 1).
