Title: Prohibits E-Cigarettes in Public Spaces

Vote to pass a bill that prohibits electronic cigarettes in public spaces, effective October 1, 2015.

Highlights:

  • Prohibits an individual from using an “electronic nicotine delivery system” in certain spaces including, but not limited to, following spaces (Sec. 1):

    • A health care institution;
    • A restaurant or bar;
    • A school area while the school is in session;
    • An elevator; or
    • A university dormitory.
  • Defines “electronic nicotine delivery system” as an electronic device used to simulate smoking nicotine or other substances, including, but not limited to, an electronic cigarette, pipe, or hookah (Sec. 1).
