Vote to pass a bill that expands requirements for a parent or guardian seeking to exempt his or her child from school vaccines, effective July 1, 2015.

Highlights:

• Requires a parent or guardian seeking a school vaccination waiver due to religious beliefs to present a statement to, and be acknowledged by, the following individuals (Secs. 1-4):
• An individual who is a judge of a court of record or a family support magistrate;
• An individual who is a clerk or deputy clerk of a court having a seal;
• An individual who is a town clerk;
• An individual who is a notary public;
• An individual who is a justice of the peace; or
• An individual who is an attorney admitted to the state bar.
